Mode of UGC NET Exam:
- All the candidates will be allotted a decktop with pre-installed software at the exam center by NTA.
- Make sure that the system and mouse are working properly before the test starts.
Nature of Questions of both papers:
- All the questions in the UGC NET exam will be of Multiple Choice type (MCQs)/objective types.
- There are 4 multiple options for each question, candidates must select the most appropriate answer.

Marking Scheme of UGC NET 2021
Correct Answer: There are 2 marks allotted for each correct answer in both papers.
Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for any wrong answer. It’s a positive point of your preparation.
Unattempted Question: No marks deducted for unanswered questions.
Note: If any question is found wrong due to any reason, the benefit of marks will be given to only those candidates who attempted the question.

A. Apart from Ph.D., candidates will have to clear the National Eligibility Test (NET) or a recognized examination (State Level Eligibility Test) or other similar examinations,” the HRD ministry official said. According to reports, those who have done PhD before 2009 will not be asked to clear NET.

A. UGC NET full form is “University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test”.
