RRB Technician Online Form 2026: Apply for 6557 Posts (Grade I & III)

The Railway Recruitment Board has opened one of its major technical recruitment drives of the year for ITI, Diploma, and Engineering candidates. The RRB Technician Online Form 2026, released under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 02/2026, invites applications for a combined total of 6557 vacancies across Technician Grade I (Signal) and Technician Grade III posts spread across Indian Railway zones.

The online application process began on 30 June 2026 and will remain open until 29 July 2026 (11:59 PM). Of the total vacancies, 323 posts are for Technician Grade I Signal, while the remaining posts are for Technician Grade III across various technical departments such as electrical, mechanical, and other engineering trades. This year’s vacancy count is notably lower than the previous recruitment cycle, which had offered over 14,000 posts, making competition for these positions expected to be intense.

Unlike the RRB Assistant Loco Pilot recruitment, this Technician recruitment follows a single-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) selection process, with no separate psychometric or aptitude test (CBAT) stage. Below is a complete overview of important dates, application fee, age limit, vacancy distribution, eligibility, selection process, and the step-by-step application procedure, along with official links.
