Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology, specializing in Science or Mathematics, need a minimum of 55% marks. Equivalent qualifications are also accepted. For the Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed in Sanskrit) course, candidates need 50% marks in a bachelor’s degree with Sanskrit as the main subject, along with a master’s degree in Sanskrit or an Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra. Candidates who cleared Shastri (BA including Sanskrit) with 50% marks and completed a 2-year Acharya (MA Sanskrit) course must also clear a bridge course. First-year Acharya/MA marks are not counted in the final percentage. |
